The Sacred Imprint of Divine Footprints
Situated approximately 2.5 km from Ban Ganga at an altitude of 3,380 feet, Charan Paduka is the second major milestone on the traditional trek. Tradition holds that the Goddess paused here to look back at the pursuing demon Bhaironath, leaving the permanent impression of her lotus feet on a stone slab.
