1. Nature of Services & Statutory Disclaimer

Vaishno Devi Tour Package is an independent private tour operator and travel facilitator located in Katra and Jammu, J&K. We are not the official website of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) and have no affiliation with any government department.

Official yatra permits (RFID cards), government guest house rooms, and official helicopter tickets are under the exclusive jurisdiction of SMVDSB. We provide private hotel reservations, dedicated AC taxi transfers, personalized customer assistance, and custom holiday itineraries.

2. Booking & Payment Terms

• A nominal advance deposit (usually 25% to 50% of the total tour cost) is required to issue a confirmed booking confirmation voucher.
• The remaining balance is payable upon arrival in Katra prior to check-in / start of vehicle transfers.
• Vouchers must be presented at hotel check-in along with valid original government photo IDs for all staying guests.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Cancellation 10+ days prior to travel: 100% refund of advance deposit (less nominal payment processing fee).
• Cancellation 5 to 9 days prior: 50% refund of advance deposit.
• Cancellation less than 5 days prior: No refund on advance deposit due to guaranteed hotel room lock-ins.
• Date Rescheduling: Postponement or date changes are accommodated free of charge, subject to hotel room and vehicle availability.

4. Force Majeure & Weather Contingencies

In the event of unforeseen weather disruptions (landslides, heavy snowfall, flash floods, or helicopter suspension due to low visibility/high winds), our Katra team will make every effort to arrange alternative road transport or hotel adjustments. Any refund on official government helicopter tickets is administered directly by the aviation operator or Shrine Board in accordance with their established policy.

5. Jurisdiction

All disputes, claims, or legal matters arising out of tour services are subject exclusively to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Jammu & Kashmir, India.
