Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Jammu → Drive to Katra → Rest & Yatra Briefing

Arrive at Jammu Tawi Railway Station or Jammu Airport. You will be welcomed by our polite chauffeur and escorted to your private air-conditioned vehicle. Enjoy the pleasant ride through the Shivalik foothills to Katra (50 km / 1 hr 15 min).

Check in at your hotel in Katra. Our local guest coordinator will assist you with obtaining the mandatory RFID Yatra Access Card and provide tips on the best trekking timings. Evening at leisure to stroll through Katra main bazaar, sample local food, or rest early for the trek next morning. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2 The Sacred Yatra: Katra → Ardhkuwari → Bhawan → Bhairon

Early morning after breakfast, transfer to Banganga or Tarakote Marg base camp. Begin your trek towards Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan (12 km). Devotees can trek on foot or use available pony, palki, or battery car services (from Ardhkuwari).

En route, take blessings at Charan Paduka and the holy Ardhkuwari Temple. Arrive at Bhawan, take a bath in the holy water streams, and proceed for divine darshan of the three natural Holy Pindies (Maha Kali, Maha Lakshmi, Maha Saraswati). Afterward, take the modern ropeway to Bhairon Ghati (3 minutes) to visit Bhairon Baba Temple. Trek back down to Katra and return to your hotel for a peaceful night's rest.

Day 3 Katra Check-out → Jammu Heritage Sightseeing → Departure

Savor a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. If time permits before your train or flight, our cab will take you for brief sightseeing in Jammu including the famous Raghunath Temple and the ancient Bahu Fort.

Timely drop-off at Jammu Tawi Railway Station or Jammu Airport for your return journey. Tour concludes with divine blessings of Mata Rani.
