Where does this tour start and end?

The tour begins with pickup at Jammu (Airport or Railway Station) or directly at Katra, and can conclude either with a return drop-off at Jammu or directly at Srinagar Airport (SXR), giving you the flexibility to fly back home from Srinagar.

Are meals included in the Kashmir portion of the trip?

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 Jammu Arrival → Katra Transfer → Briefing

Pickup at Jammu Airport/Station and drive to Katra. Check in at hotel, obtain RFID card with local team, rest and prepare for next day's trek.

Day 2 Mata Vaishno Devi Sacred Darshan

Full day dedicated to the sacred yatra to Mata Rani Bhawan, Ardhkuwari, and Bhairon Baba Temple. Return to Katra hotel for overnight rest.

Day 3 Katra → Scenic Drive to Srinagar → Houseboat Check-in

Post early breakfast, drive to Srinagar (240 km / 6-7 hrs) through the Chenani-Nashri and Banihal Navyug tunnels. Check in at a traditional carved cedar wood Houseboat on Dal Lake. Enjoy a relaxing 1-hour Shikara ride during sunset. Dinner and overnight on Houseboat.

Day 4 Srinagar → Gulmarg Excursion (Meadow of Flowers)

Full-day tour to Gulmarg (52 km / 1.5 hrs). Ride the world-famous Gulmarg Gondola cable car to Phase 1 (Kongdoori) and Phase 2 (Apharwat Peak). Enjoy snow views and pony rides. Return to Srinagar hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 Srinagar Local Sightseeing (Mughal Gardens & Old City)

Explore Srinagar's royal heritage: Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), Cheshma Shahi, and Shankaracharya Temple on hillock. Evening free for shopping Kashmiri handicrafts, pashmina shawls, and dry fruits. Dinner and overnight in Srinagar hotel.

Day 6 Srinagar Airport Departure / Drop-off

Enjoy breakfast with views of the valley. Transfer to Srinagar Airport (SXR) for your flight back home, carrying memories of Mata's blessings and Kashmir's splendour.
